I found the IPATA website and decided that was the way to go. I initially contacted Town & Country Kennels in Langhorne, PA because it was close to my point of origin. I spoke with Billy a couple of times and he came across as disinterested and he never called me back after that. I checked for IPATA members in Colorado Springs (my destination) and found Pet Relocator. Cassandra contacted me very quickly and she did a splendid job of coordinating the move of my two dogs. The communication and last minute troubleshooting were exemplary. I would highly recommend Pet Relocator anytime.

We sought out pet relocation services because my husband and I are living in England for a few years for grad school. Leaving Missy (our dog/fur baby) behind was not an option, so we were searching for the most affordable (but reliable) option. Luckily, Pet Relocator was based in our area and one of the lower cost options. I would highly recommend Pet Relocator to anyone thinking about moving their pet overseas! They managed to get everything done in a short time line and greatly reduced our stress and anxiety. I was moving from Albuquerque to Vienna and I had to take Theodore with me. I looked at several different companies before choosing Pet Relocator. Ultimately, Cassandra was the reason I chose Pet Relocator. She called me and explained the entire process so I knew everything that was going to happen. She was always available to answer any questions. Cassandra was so nice and friendly with me. I knew that she really cared for Theodore's well-being above everything else. I had no doubt that she would take good care of him, and she did. There were never any issues with the paperwork, Cassandra dealt with all the small details so I did not have to worry about them. She planned everything so it would work best with my schedule. Theodore arrived in Vienna happy and healthy. Pet Relocator helped us move our dog to China. They even found a route that would allow her to fly on the same flights as us saving us about $1000. Valic made it safely to a Dipolog in the Philippines thanks to Cassandra’s persistence and patience. She found us a route via boat because all Air travel had been banned due to temperature restrictions. It wasn’t the most pleasant boat ride, but it kept our family together. We decided to retire in Argentina, but we knew it was going to be a challenge to move our 10 cats. We found Pet Relocator and were immediately put at ease. Once we had finalized our moving schedule, we reached back out to Pet Relocator to assist us with our move. They determined that actually flying the cats into Chili and having them transported across was our best option and safest for our cats. They even managed to have all 10 cats fly on the same flight! The cats had to spend the night in Chili, but Cassandra even sent us photos during their overnight stay! Everything went off without a hitch and they delivered our 10 cats safely to our door. It was amazing to have someone take care of the logistics. We can’t thank you enough for your help, compassion, and attention to detail.

We teamed up with Pet relocator for our move to South Korea. They were very quick and responsive and brought us up to speed on the ins and outs of getting our cat ready for travel and complying with all the regulations and certifications. They explained every step of the complicated, nearly 12 month process clearly and were incredibly responsive whenever we needed help. Deana and Cassandra took so much of the stress and guesswork off our plate, especially when navigating all the requirements around Australian border entry. Shipping a bulldog internationally was no small feat and I was nervous when it came time for him to travel, but it all went so smoothly and Deana was really supportive and explained everything in great detail. They were very communicative, organized, and helpful all along the way. They even came to the rescue when our pup was presented to the airline for travel and the crate was 1 inch(!) too short. (Airline crate guidelines are no joke!) We were due to leave on a flight two hours after him and started considering all the possibilities if he was denied travel that day. Before we could come up with a plan to delay our travel or go as planned, Pet Relocator sourced a larger crate and he was able to travel as planned! Closer to arrival we began receiving updates from the agent in London, letting us know how he was doing and the expected timeline for clearing customs and delivery. Just a few hours later we were happily reunited! Our pet relocation service used them as local agent in Colorado and we're underwhelmed with the communication and lack of empathy from everyone we interacted with. The day before traveling, they called us just to run through a checklist as if we were opening a checking account at a bank instead of sending our dog to the other side of the world, they did not stop at any point to check if we had questions until the very end. The day of pickup, they quickly put our dog in the crate, then said they would provide an update in 90 minutes and they never did. We called them because the Airtag we put on our dog's collar never updated her location. They said "I have an Android and I have no idea what could have happened" then told us they would not be providing updates directly to us. Is it too hard to just let us know our dog is fine? Then no one provided an update that our dog was on the plane and left without any issues. At this point, we have no idea if our dog is traveling or not. We know this is also miscommunication with our own agency and we will write their own review, but they are the local agents and a little humanity wouldn't hurt.Posted on GoogleBrad LevinSeptember 19, 2026We moved to the USA 7 years ago, and our 2 Devon Rex cats were brought over from the UK by a specialist company that was organized and funded by my employer. It worked well. We recently decided to move back to the UK, and this time we were doing the admin ourselves, so had to research providers, then fund and engage with them ourselves directly. After in-depth research, we chose to work with Pet Relocator based on a number of factors (testimonies, availability, friendliness and helpfulness of the team during our selection). From the beginning, they were knowledgeable, and very helpful. They were always available to answer a quick call, email or message. I also liked the portal they use, providing handy lists of tasks, dates and more. The team were quick to engage with our vet, and help them (and us) make sure we were following all the procedures necessary. It is important to get the process exactly right, or else pets can be delayed or even quarantined if every detail is not exact - and the team here were great, and very knowledgeable. Instructions were always very clear, and when we met them to hand over our kitties they were thorough, checked everything again, and told us exactly what would happen. We then got updates from them on every stage of the journey, including pics as the cats were loaded onto their flights. Once landed in the UK, we had calls and text updates from the team and the local agents who processed our cats, and then delivered them to us in a temp-controlled van. Our cats arrived safely, clean, and most importantly - hardly stressed at all. Compared to when they flew to the USA to join us, the experience for our cats seemed very different, and they settled into their new home quickly and without the signs of stress that we saw on the original move. I had to relocate to England for university, and the UK does not allow pets to fly in-cabin. The specifications and number of decisions in front of me had me seriously stressed. I am really grateful that I found Pet Relocator to help. Not only were they the most reasonably priced option for the amount of services they offer and include, but they were communicative and helped with the process from start to finish, the vet paperwork, and any questions I had (and I had a lot). Moving abroad is complicated and really tough, and ensuring my 10-year-old cat was going to be safe/okay on an international plane ride had my anxiety at 100- but thankfully, Pet Relocator took more off my plate than I had even hoped for. Pet Relocator was incredibly helpful and quickly rebooked his flight and arranged for a local agent to clear customs upon arrival in Seoul. They also coordinated with our vet to complete all the necessary health certificates and arranged boarding at JFK since our dog was not traveling on the same flight as us.
